May 20, 2025 is the primary election. You must be registered as a Democrat in order to vote for Democratic candidates (Independents may not vote in the primary in PA). The last day to register to vote before the primary is May 5, 2025. Stay tuned for more information on the next election cycle.
- Polls are open on election day from 7 A.M. to 8 P.M.
- Remember, to be counted, a completed mail-in ballot must be in the hands of the Board of Elections by 8pm on Election Day. It is too late to mail in your ballot – please drop in the ballot box at the New Hope-Solebury Free Library or at the Doylestown Administration Building.

Voting By Mail
Voting by mail is an easy three-step process! Request your ballot online (recommended) or with a paper application, complete the ballot as instructed, and return the completed ballot by mail or drop off to the right place by 8:00 PM on Election Day
Return options
Option A. Return In Person to the Board of Elections. You can only return your own ballot. Here are the three Board of Elections locations, open from M-F (8:00am-4:30pm):

Option B: Return to a Drop-box. A drop box is located at the New Hope Solebury Library!
Option C. At the polls on Nov 5. As a last resort you can bring your ballot to the polls on Election Day and the Judge of Elections will void your ballot and allow you to vote on the machines. You will need both envelopes in order to take advantage of this option.

Voting Early In-Person (ends Nov 1, 2024)
You can vote early by going to your county elections office in person, requesting a ballot, completing it, and handing it back on the spot!
Voting On Election Day
Polls will be open 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, Nov 5th. Be sure to confirm your voter registration and polling location by as you make your plan to vote on Election Day!
